Job Description:
Position Summary:The Inpatient Float Pool Nurse Supervisor will
work in collaboration with nursing leadership to develop and
implement patient care policies to ensure they are based on
evidence and/or best practice nursing standards and comply with
regulatory requirements. As new nursing knowledge and innovations
in practice advance, works to implement and monitor the application
into practice. Ensures standardized implementation across their
area of responsibility by working closely with the nurses.
Coordinates the activities of the nursing staff, including
appropriate staffing levels to ensure quality and safe patient
centered care.Minimum Qualifications:RequiredBachelors of Science
degree in Nursing (BSN) within two (2) years of hireCurrent Montana
Licensure (Registered Nurse)American Heart Association BLSACLS
certification within six (6) months of hirePALS or ENPC
certification within one (1) year of hireTwo (2) years of nursing
experiencePreferredMaster of Science, Nursing (MSN) or Master's
degree in related fieldPrior nursing supervisory
