The Acute Care Respiratory Therapist will play a crucial role in
the delivery of respiratory care services to a diverse patient
population. The ideal Therapist will possess strong clinical

work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Developing and implementing patient care plans with hospital
leadership including, administering respiratory treatments and
therapies and assessing and monitoring patients with respiratory
conditions will be a large part of the Respiratory Therapists day.
Additional responsibilities will include responding promptly and
effectively to respiratory emergencies, providing education to
patients and families on respiratory conditions and self-management
and ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of respiratory
equipment.
An RRT prepared candidate with strong acute care experience looking
to contribute to a patient-focused healthcare team will surely make
